Serverless Guru was founded to help shepherd in the age of serverless and for years we have dedicated ourselves to serverless development for enterprise companies and high growth startups.

One of the key components of helping shepherd in a new technology is sharing information publicly for the enhancement of the entire community. That's why Serverless Guru has spent countless hours writing more than a hundred articles on cloud computing, serverless, and programming. We also have invested significantly into developing public patterns, training via our Serverless Zero to Paid: Professional course, meetups, and a podcast where we interview serverless practitioners across the industry!

Internally at Serverless Guru, you will be surrounded by a global team of serverless experts who eat, sleep, and breath serverless application development. We often have deep dive threads the second a new serverless product, service, or feature launches which means you'll stay up-to-date with all the current trends coming out. We encourage open communication across teams/projects and as a result everyone gains from new insights, architecture, and development practices picked up.

We help clients build production-ready high traffic capable serverless applications from end to end.

About The Role

This particular role will involve working alongside a team of Serverless Guru developers and client developers building serverless applications leveraging AWS, Serverless Framework/Terraform/CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions, and a backend programming language like NodeJS, Python, or C#. About 90% of our projects involve NodeJS, but we do have openings for Python and C# too.

We are looking for 0-2 years of relevant experience.

There is a lot of growth opportunities to sharpen every aspect of your technical and soft skills. Strong communication will be helpful when talking during meetings, recording videos on patterns you've developed, and garnering trust from clients.

Skills You Should Feel Comfortable With

• AWS Serverless Offerings (e.g. AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, etc)
• DevOps Practices (e.g. CI/CD Pipelines)
• IAC Expertise (e.g. Serverless Framework, Terraform)
• Backend Development with NodeJS, Python, or C#
• Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Acceptance Testing, and Load Testing
